Offers Terms and Conditions​

These Terms & Conditions apply to all promotional offers, discounts, partner promotions, and special deals advertised by Katana Restaurant, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.


1. Eligibility & Scope

  • All promotions are valid only on food items unless otherwise stated.

  • Promotions apply exclusively to à la carte and Teppanyaki menus.

  • Lunch set menus, set menus, tasting menus, special event menus, seasonal menus, or any other discounted menus are excluded, as these menus are already offered at a reduced price. Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with these menus.

  • Promotions cannot be applied retrospectively.


2. Date & Availability Restrictions

  • All promotions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended at any time without prior notice.

  • Promotions are not valid during December, bank holidays, Valentine’s Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or any other special event periods unless explicitly stated.

  • Valid dates will be listed on our website’s offers page. If no dates are listed, standard blackout dates apply.


3. Booking & Notification Requirement

  • Guests must mention the promotion at the time of booking or upon arrival (for walk-ins).

  • Failure to notify the team before ordering may result in the promotion being declined.

  • Staff reserve the right to guide guests toward the correct menu to ensure eligibility.


3A. Online Booking Promo Codes (Mandatory)

  • For online bookings, guests must enter the correct promotional code at the time of booking to qualify for any discount.

  • Promotions cannot be applied if a valid code has not been entered in advance.

  • The following codes apply to their respective offers only:

    • KATANADL – David Lloyd

    • KATANAPUFC – Peterborough United

    • KATANABL – Blue Light

    • KATANASTU – Student

  • Promo codes cannot be added after a booking has been confirmed or applied at the restaurant if omitted.

  • Incorrect, expired, or misused codes will render the promotion invalid.


4. Partner & Third-Party Promotions

  • Partner promotions (including but not limited to Peterborough United or other affiliates) are subject to Katana’s internal terms, regardless of where the promotion is viewed.

  • Katana is not responsible for outdated screenshots, forwarded emails, third-party posts, or expired advertisements.

  • Only promotions currently listed on Katana’s official website or confirmed by management are valid.


5. Stacking & Combination

  • Promotions cannot be combined with any other offer, discount, voucher, loyalty reward, or third-party deal.

  • Only one promotion per table, per visit, unless explicitly stated otherwise.


6. Staff Discretion & Final Decision

  • The manager on duty has final authority to determine promotion eligibility.

  • Any disputes regarding promotions will be handled calmly and professionally; all management decisions are final.


7. Conduct & Zero-Tolerance Policy

  • Katana operates a zero-tolerance policy toward abusive, aggressive, or threatening behaviour.

  • Raised voices, swearing, intimidation, or harassment of staff may result in:

    • Immediate refusal of the promotion

    • Termination of service

    • Removal from the premises

  • Protecting staff wellbeing is non-negotiable.


8. Errors & Misprints

  • Katana reserves the right to correct any errors, misprints, or omissions in promotional materials.

  • In the event of a clear mistake, Katana’s liability is limited to honouring the promotion as reasonably intended or withdrawing it.


9. Payment & Disputes

  • Promotions apply only at the point of sale.

  • Card chargebacks initiated after a dispute do not change promotion eligibility.

  • Abuse of the chargeback system may result in refusal of future bookings.


10. Acceptance of Terms

  • By dining at Katana and participating in any promotion, guests agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

11. Limited-Time Offers Terms

The following terms apply to all limited-time, time-bound, or flash promotions, including but not limited to complimentary items, fixed-period offers, and post-campaign incentives (the “Limited-Time Offers”).

11.1 Offer Structure
Limited-Time Offers may include complimentary items (such as drinks), fixed discounts, or value-added benefits and are only valid for the specific period, days, and services stated in the promotional communication.

11.2 Eligibility
• Limited-Time Offers apply only to à la carte or Teppanyaki dining, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Lunch menus, set menus, tasting menus, event menus, seasonal menus, or any discounted menus are excluded.
• Complimentary items are limited to one per eligible guest, unless otherwise stated.
• Offers are valid per seated guest only and are non-transferable.

11.3 Booking & Notification Requirement (Strict)
To redeem any Limited-Time Offer:
• Guests must present the offer code before being seated, or
• Enter the correct offer code in the notes section at the time of online booking.

Failure to provide the offer code before seating or during the booking process will result in the offer being invalid.
Limited-Time Offers cannot be applied after seating, during dining, or at the time of billing under any circumstances.

11.4 Offer Codes
• Offer codes are valid only for the specific promotion they are issued for.
• Codes must be current, correctly entered, and used within the stated promotional period.
• Expired, incorrect, shared, or misused codes will invalidate the offer.

11.5 Availability & Withdrawal
• Limited-Time Offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn, amended, or ended early without notice.
• Availability may be restricted by date, service period, or capacity.
• No cash alternative or substitution will be offered.

11.6 Non-Combination
Limited-Time Offers cannot be used in conjunction with:
• Any other promotion or discount
• Vouchers or loyalty rewards
• Partner or third-party offers
• Staff discounts

Only one offer per table, per visit is permitted unless explicitly stated otherwise.

11.7 Management Discretion
The manager on duty reserves the right to refuse or withdraw a Limited-Time Offer where:
• Terms have not been met
• The offer has been misused or misrepresented
• There is attempted pressure, dispute escalation, or abuse toward staff

All management decisions are final.
